Flash Tune ECU Based Quick shifter Kits for the 2017 Yamaha FZ10. FTECU has already sent me a new shift sensor, so I know it’s not that, I also have made sure the shift rod is in its correct position, and I just ReFlashed my bike witch means all the wire into the ECU are in theee correct right or wrong do I need to check the wiring, if so what do I check, I see someone already replied about where the wire go, I just want to get to the bottom of this because the FTECU really makes the bike a whole anthor experience! With that being said, I need help guys? Also wanted to clarify a few question I have, first being does it matter the way the sensor is positioned(up and down) is screwed into the rod? Also I saw a video on Brock performance saying something about having the chain tighter than normal, could that be it? to use the AutoBlipper is all I have to do is flip to the black and green wire for pulling or do I need to reflash in order for it to work? Thanks again fam. Anyways yes my FTECU QuickShifter is not working anymore. Okay so I’m sure you know what this is about because of the topic.

Instances, gear, fights that were all much more difficult to do in the past, things that people enjoyed about the game, things that people hated about the game, they’re all either skippable now or easy enough that they no longer require the same effort they once did. While it’s an amazing thought – being up to date with the official Japanese version of the game and getting to access all the latest content as Japan gets to experience it, that also means that it essentially trivializes all of the content released for many of the years leading up to this point. This means 7 years, 8 if we count when the game will launch over here worth of content, updates, gear, tweaks, quests, bosses and more. They announced that the game will be getting a North American release with – in their words – “all of the content” that the Japanese version currently has. Microsoft could IP block the rest of the world to prevent anyone outside of the country from accessing the game without using a VPN to play. This would provide them an idea of how popular the game was, at least within North America, before going ahead with attempting to gain rights to publish in other countries, which is a whole nother headache.ģ.) The most unlikely, but also definitely a plausible outcome would be that North America and North America alone will have access to the game. Thus far, anyway.Ģ.) Like other games in the past, Microsoft could be planning a North American launch initially, with plans to expand into other countries over time. This would of course mean that you would likely have higher latency outside of North America but from what I’ve played of the Japanese version with over 200 ping in the past I’ve suffered no disadvantages from lag. Now allow me to quickly touch on three potential outcomes regarding the release next year.ġ.) Microsoft could be providing servers hosted within North America, just like Nexon America does with their games, and instead of opening servers in different regions across the world, which would prove to be much more expensive overall, would allow players from all areas of the world, with the exception of regions that already have their version such as South East Asia and Japan to access the game without an IP block. “Debuting in North America” is all we’ve gotten in terms of confirmation. ![]() ![]() ![]() Release dates for the rest of the world are unknown right now – with no information on whether the rest of the world will even get a release in their country. Microsoft themselves will be providing the servers for PSO2 and it has been confirmed, both via Twitter and the official PSO2 website that the game, at present, is expected to launch in North America in Spring 2020. Whether that means that they had planned to launch on every console is up for discussion, but it is worth noting that the game – which has an expected release window of Spring 2020 – does not have a release window for other consoles. That means that you can play on either PC or Xbox with friends playing on either – meaning you aren’t segregated.įans were livid that Microsoft had plans to bring the game over exclusively for those platforms and those platforms alone, but in a recent interview with Phil Spencer, the President of Xbox, it was revealed that they have no intention of releasing the game exclusively for those platforms at all, and that both PS4 and Switch releases were already planned and on the way. We’ve been waiting since the game originally launched back in 2012 for someone – anyone to localize and publish the game over here, after all.ĭuring their announcement, Microsoft stated that they wanted to bring the game over to the West for Xbox and PC, offering cross-play functionality between the two platforms. So hearing that Microsoft was bringing over PSO2 to the West was great news for hundreds of thousands of potential players, if the views on my PSO2 video are to be believed. Which made things a little difficult at times but not so much that I’d complain about it. That was of course using the fan-translations that were supplied to us – and while they were pretty damn good, there were always translation issues, especially with current content. I’ve played the Japanese version of the game and I played it quite thoroughly. I covered Phantasy Star Online 2’s E3 announcement by Microsoft last week and I’ll admit, I was hyped. Champions does work with basically everything though, much like UniversalGibs, so its one I nearly always have on (I usually play with Argent, the non-obtrusive Doom 2016 weapons pack). Especially if you leave the Black/White variants on these are often way more challenging than standard Doom Bosses (A White Imp that appeared for me when I first played had 40K Health, ran around like a turbo-Pinky, and fired triple spreadshot fireballs similar to a Mancubus, but faster firing! Though it did drop a BFG and a Megasphere on death, so whatever.)ĭespite LegenDoom claiming to work with other monster packs, it usually doesn't, by the way. So its great for mixing up random encounters.Ĭolourful Hell is similar, but alot more intrusive, and the majority of monsters are upgraded, rather than just one every so often, so that one is best when you're running the more OP weapon mods (Trailblazer, Russian Overkill, Guncaster) or want a bigger challenge. Personally I recommend using Shades of Doom (with 'Chaos Mode' enabled in its menu) in combination with Champions (with its spawn rate set to somewhere between 5-15%) for a good general balanced experience.Ĭhampions isn't really boss monsters, it adds stuff that's more like Diablo's blue mobs (where one of the enemies in a group has a strange and unique ability, like its 100% faster, explodes on death, fires extra projectiles in pain states, and so on). Wanderer has already pointed out most of the options I'm aware of the only other one is: The Brutal Doom No Weapons, Monsters ONLY pack. Insanely, punishingly hard on top difficulties.Īlso, as a rule of thumb, if you're looking for gameplay mods, then ZDoom forums is a much better place for it, that actually has a board dedicated specifically for them. Works with other monster mods.ĭoomRL Arsenal - download the standalone Monster Pack. Bringing them down to half will cause them to fully heal and transform into a more powerful form. LegenDoom - you gonna need LegenDoomLite. Random enemies on the map are chosen to be Legendary enemies, with increased health. Doesn't change enemies behaviour or ballance per se, rather a purely visual, cosmetic mod.Ĭhampions - adds boss type monsters with some interesting abilities. Shades Of Doom - monster randomisation based upon specific themes. Has boss type enemies that you can turn on or off in the menu. Adds colour coded variants, where your basic Doom goons are the weakest type and coloured enemies are progressively tougher. You can also do this with multiple images. Then from there, click the dropdown arrow on the left and select 'Heretic' and then click the one on the right and select 'Doom.' Then just click convert. If youre using SLAD3, then you can right click it, go down to graphics, then select 'convert to.'. Colourful Hell - monster randomisation mod. There will be a cascade of impacts following the disappearance of an ecosystem like that. You stop this water pump and the whole system may transform into a savannah because there is not enough water left to sustain a tropical forest. When rain falls on trees and vegetation, part of it is absorbed, and part of it goes back up into the air following evapotranspiration. Water may be recycled up to five times as it travels from the southeast to the northwest of the Amazon. The Amazon is like a gigantic recycler, a water pump. For example, one of the most concerning articles I read in the last six months documented clear signs that the Amazon was losing resilience. GL: There are worrying signs that some of these systems may be close to tipping points. UNEP: How serious is the threat to rainforest ecosystems? For people living inside these ecosystems, forests are a source of income, food, medicine. The Congo Basin, for example, influences rainfall patterns as far away as North Africa. They are also key for the regulation of water availability at regional levels. Forests like the Amazon or the Congo Basin are gigantic reservoirs of biodiversity – home to jaguars, chimpanzees, and sloths. This is critical alongside the rapid decarbonization of our economies.īut this is about much more than carbon. Gabriel Labbate (GL): There is no pathway to limit global warming to 2☌, let alone 1.5☌ if we don’t cut emissions from forests to net-zero by 2030 or 2035 and, at the same time, undertake a massive process of forest restoration to remove carbon from the air. He explained why safeguarding rainforests is so urgent, the scarcely conceivable consequences of failure, and how everyone can play a role in ensuring their survival. And few ecosystems are as important as rainforests.Īhead of World Rainforest Day on 22 June, we spoke with Gabriel Labbate, the head of the United Nations Environment Programme’s (UNEP’s) Climate Mitigation Unit. A key element of that transformation is halting the loss of nature and restoring ecosystems. Indeed, the Ukraine conflict, soaring energy and commodity prices and the lingering pandemic all point to the need for a more sustainable world. But climate change, biodiversity and nature loss, and pollution and waste – our triple planetary crisis – have not gone away. War in Europe, economic turmoil and the impacts of COVID-19 have dominated global headlines in 2022. But their Nepali equivalents are used when the characters refer to each other in quote marks. In case of Hutt’s translation of Karnali Blues, this may refere, among other choices, to the use of the English ‘sister’, ‘mother’ and ‘father’ in the narration. She says this often leads the translator to ‘achieve a certain logic and rhetoric during translation’. Thapa adds, ’here is, in each translator, a persistent desire for such successes, a desire often realised, albeit erratically, unpredictably’. A slight mistranslation can unravel and flatten the entire narrative. Characters often have different words for different family members depending on whether they are from the father’s side or the mother’s.Ĭoupled with the differences in dialects and syntax, the difficulties when translating are often posed by the intangible aspects particular to languages, such as the tone, the cadence, humour and poetic images. Set in far west Nepal, the narrative of Karnali Blues is informed by its society and dialect, and the use of ba, ama, didi and kaka or mama are ubiquitous. One classic challenge, he recalls, was to choose how much Nepali to put into the translation, especially in the cases of nouns for family roles such as father, mother, sister, uncle. ![]() “The original must not be changed beyond recognition.” ![]() “If certain aspects of the original language do not come elegantly in translation, one has to accept it,” he says. The levels of politeness and deference between speaker and interlocutor in conversational context, for example, is difficult to take from Nepali and replicate in English because there are not exact counterparts.īut taking excessive liberties in the name of ‘capturing the spirit of the text,’ says Hutt, is an act of violence. When translating from the Nepali language into English, says Hutt, there is a character embedded in the Nepali language that speaks to a Nepali speaker or reader but not to English. There are no perfect translations of books, and Hutt believes “a sense of compromise must be reached between the original text and the translation”. He says, “The Nepali was mine, but the translation is Michael’s too.” Nevertheless, Hutt believes that as a translator, he has a serious responsibility to the author and the original text to not distort the intended impact and meaning.įor author Buddha Sagar, translation is a joint effort. Hutt’s other translations of Nepali works include Laxmi Prasad Devkota’s मुनामदन Muna Madan in 1996 and Lil Bahadur Chhetri’s बसाईँ Basain (as Mountains Painted with Turmeric) in 2008.Įven then, Hutt adds, ‘for you, sir’ may not be the perfect choice, as another reader of Nepali literature may immediately, upon coming across the phrase in the book, quip, “I would have translated that differently.” “At first mention, I say something like ‘for you, sir’, so that the semantics will be apparent to an English-language reader, but keep the ‘ hajurko’ in the later instances.” ![]() “‘For you, sir teashop’ just doesn’t work,” says Hutt, a professor of Nepali and Himalayan studies at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London. Michael Hutt, whose translation of Karnali Blues was published in December by Penguin India to rave reviews, agonised over how to render हजुरको into Nepali, trying to find the perfect turn of phrase without misrepresenting it. But how does one transpose the same effect into the English medium when translating? To the reader of Nepali, the nuance clicks immediately – a phrase is used so often that it takes on a character itself. Eventually he runs a teashop which takes its name after the same memorable idiolect: हजुरको चियापसल (‘H ajurko Chiyapasal’). A character in Buddhisagar’s bestselling 2010 novel कर्नाली ब्लुज ( Karnali Blues) has the habit of adding “हजुरको” (‘ hajurko’) at the end of his sentences whenever he speaks. |
